BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (15 amino acids: Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val) derived from a protective compound found in human gastric juice.
